Now that you have attended a class or two this spring, you may want to read the parent guide that explains a bit more in depth what we do here at Music Together—and some of the research behind why we do it. There is an additional parent guide if you have an infant in class. These resources you received upon starting your first series of classes. We know that music education doesn’t happen once a week in a 45-minute class. It occurs over time and develops best in a rich music environment. These guides can help you create that environment both in class and at home! Pro-tip: read the text in the purple boxes for a quick preview of all the info we have to share.

Our Music Together classes benefit children by helping them learn how to sing in tune and how to keep a beat. Active music-making also creates unique connections in the brain that support your child’s language, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, too.
