This Wednesday at Entre Club: Askov Finlayson & Adam Fetcher
Climate change isn’t waiting for companies to reduce their environmental impact incrementally. Askov Finlayson, a Minneapolis-based outdoor clothing company known as a leading champion of the North, believes it’s time to rethink our relationship with the planet and start doing more good than harm. The company’s innovative Give 110% business model makes every purchase a net climate positive through a commitment to carbon accountability. Adam Fetcher will talk about Askov Finlayson’s Keep the North Cold climate change mission, how to marry business success with climate action, and how turning everyday consumer behavior into meaningful climate action can turn climate change into a cultural movement – not a political wedge.
About Adam Fetcher:
Adam is Vice President of Environmental Impact & Policy for Askov Finlayson, a Minneapolis-based outdoor clothing company built around an innovative climate-focused mission and business model. He previously served as Director of Global Communications at Patagonia, where he played a lead role in helping to lead an iconic company into a new era of environmental activism, customer engagement and growth. Adam formerly served as the U.S. Department of the Interior during the Obama administration and Deputy National Press Secretary for President Obama's 2012 re-election campaign, in addition to several other political roles. A 2006 graduate of Carleton College, Adam is also board co-chair of the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters.
Come to have a discussion around climate change with Adam Fetcher!
