World Link World Changers

I keep this page open for myself and former students memories, however, I am no longer active as a coordinator for these great programs.

To all the Awesome World Link World Changers that have blessed my life over the past decade - I am actually taking a trip in September. I will mostly be in Southern France, however I will make a quick jaunt to Belgrade - Friday Sept 16 and Moscow - Sat Sept 24. Let me know if you might be available to meet up.

It was an incredible experience to have Benay as one of my students - she is a beautiful and talented young woman from Turkey who happens to be blind. She is definitely one of the hi-lights of my World Link career. I Love you Benay and continue to be so proud of you!!!!

One of the most wonderful parts of Reentry this year was getting to be with one of my students from 4 years ago - Simona - I love you so much and am so incredibly honored to be your coordinator. You are an amazing girl who sets such a great example to all my other World Changers!

I am so incredibly proud of my students - at our awards banquet my cluster of World Changers definitely did me proud!!!

What an amazing Re-Entry time we had in Chicago. The students took LOTS of pictures, I didn't - but here's a few.

US Department of State honors schools participating in their Culture2Culture Medallion Program by sponsoring World Link students in their schools.

During March and April World Link students through-out the US have been busy doing Global Youth Service Projects. Eyes have been opened, light-bulb moments happening, empowerment and awareness - so awesome!!!

Also in March, several of my students had the opportunity to present their cultures to a University of Iowa class - UI LEAP

How the time flies!! Back in March we had a wonderful 'Political Potluck with Iowa Representative Jarad Klein.
