Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice.

At NECP, we value the diverse histories, cultures, and experiences that strengthen our community. Juneteenth is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and celebrate the contributions of Black Americans throughout history and today.

If Juneteenth or another holiday is celebrated by your family, we'd love to hear about it so we can continue honoring and learning from the traditions represented in our school community.

NEW MASCOT ALERT!

NECP students got to submit nominations last week for a new mascot for our school. The top five finalists are:

Tigers
Lions
Bears
Sharks
Eagles

This week, our students will get to vote for their favorite mascot! You can vote for your favorite by liking the images below. The winner will be unveiled at field day in June!

Northeast College Prep will be closed on Monday, March 16th due to heavy snowfall. Grades 7 and 8 will participate in eLearning.

NECP will be closed tomorrow Friday, January 23rd due to extremely cold temperatures.

7th and 8th grade will have an e-learning day. K-6 will not have school.
