In recognition of Occupational Health Nurses (OHN) Week and National Public Health Week (NPHW), we are highlighting the work of Dr. Carolyn Porta, Director of the Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing (OEHN) program and our OEHN students.

Dr. Porta was co-lead author on a study published in the Journal of Nursing Management entitled "Work Aspects Related to and Protective of Nurse Burnout During the Pandemic: A Cross-Sectional Study." This collaborative study highlighted the urgency to address nurse burnout.
