Having a good time in a monsoon...typical DSDers
It's been awhile since an update (come on members-fyi-anyone who feels they want to post here can!)
Meeting Tuesday May 7, 2013 5:00pm
Stop by for some beer, brats, and burgers for a little finals week study break (the meeting will be short). We will be introducing out newest officers and doing some brainstorming on event ideas for 2013-2014 so bring some if you have them!
For those who like their FB updates, here's the rundown from the meeting last night:
1. Party bus this Friday: Bus arrives at 8pm. The theme is MIAMI VICE...so dress to impress. Omar thinks he knows something about Miami (not sure why...) ...but he informs us to think "scarface", shoulder pads, pastel colors....Also, we may have some open seats but we aren't positive yet. There are 48 spots on the bus and we have around 30 signed up so far. Talk to Nate or Sass if you plan to bring someone extra. Upper years get priority.
2. Also, for those of you interested in the "Beer Dabbler", it is on January 26th. Tickets will be available soon (I think).
3. Du***ss: Nate wins! - for having a very interesting story about finding a free place to stay on his first night in San Fran. More info to come...
4. Philanthropy: We may try to do a blood drive. It is still in the works. Detailsto come.
5. Intramurals: Hockey lost last night :(
Bowling is going for the gold.
6. San Fran: Nate and Amber attended the meeting. They had tons of fun and hung out with "interesting" old men.
7. ARM: We will be hosting the annual regional meeting this spring. Get excited! At our next meeting, we will discuss ideas for events, speakers and a venue. So start brainstorming!
8. Lutsen vs Wisconsin Dells: A survey monkey should be coming out. The trip will take place over MLK weekend. That
means take your boards early D2s! The cost will probably be mostly out of pocket, but shouldn't be too expensive since we can smoosh like sardines. We are thinking around $100 per person. 3 days at Lusten...and probably just 2 at the Dells.
Reminder: Thursday night we are going to Second Harvest as a philanthropy event. Right now there are 20 people signed up, which is awesome. We are meeting at the frat around 5:00 for some dinner and leaving at 5:30. Amber would love to know if you can drive since there are only two cars right now. Email her at: [email protected].

Congratulations to our Du***ss Award Winner for September: Amy Ott
Amy always enjoys herself at the Hogger as many know from years past, but this year she had to put herself to bed early ...good thing she was at a loss for words

Congratulations to our Du***ss Award Winner for August: Nate Burbach
Although Nate may be unable to go to certain establishments in Uptown for awhile, I am sure we will all go to other places with you Nate, even if we love Famous Daves.
