Ahab was the worst. The failure was real. The damage mattered. And still, God was not less God in the valley than He was on the hill.

That is the strange mercy of the story: God does not wait for perfect people before He moves toward them.

Your spiral may be honest, but it is not ultimate. Your failure may be real, but it is not stronger than mercy.

Hope begins here: God is still God.
