The Music Parlor offers high quality piano lessons in a creative environment. We are located in the Arts District of Nordeast Minneapolis.

Philip Shorey got tricked into learning the piano by his Grandmother at the age of six. But after discovering his own taste for the instrument he fell in love with it and flourished. Today he combines classical theory and technic while finding the natural direction for the student. The Music Parlor is taking enrollment for this Spring (April 11-June 10). We are also offering our Music Class for Young Ones on Tuesdays at 4:00 for ages 4&5. This class will introduce young kids to unique instruments, music games, singing, dancing, learning some easy songs, using their imagination, and recording some songs to CD. Contact us for details. Looking for a Christmas eve service to attend? Philip Shorey will be playing accordion, glockenspiel, and the singing musical saw at the Music Box Theater for a special Christmas presentation. FREE! Tomorrow at 5pm. It will be mixed with a DJ, carols, spoken word, and other surprises.
