A teacher’s very correct take on recent Department of Education policy changes. De-professionalizing essential careers is just another step towards defunding and outsourcing.

Minnesotans see the need in funding our schools, even if they pay more in taxes. We can absolutely meet our needs by raising revenue - especially as federal cuts come down the line.

We’re seeing a turning point in our politics. Average voters are waking up to the destructive corporate and billionaire power who divide us while packing their pockets. Everyone needs to stand up right now, before the economy collapses for the working class.

We love Minnesota, so we invest in what we need. We need to continue that legacy now - especially as the federal government defunds our state.

Tax the rich instead of cutting services. They just got a huge tax break from Trump. They can pay their fair share for Minnesota.

And they call anything that helps people wasteful spending.

The federal administration is destroying the working class to fill the pockets of the ultra-wealthy. Working people are organizing to fight back and rebuild our society.

It's actually more costly, short-term and long-term, to give tax cuts to billionaires.

How dare they do this to our great state.

10/16/2025

Just 100 billionaire families poured a record-breaking $2.6 billion into federal elections in 2024, one of every six dollars spent altogether by all candidates, parties and committees.

All because they don’t want to pay taxes.

Seems like taxes are important. đź‘€

Ahead of Busy MEA Travel Weekend, Elected Officials, Educators, Minnesotans to Speak Out Demanding End to MAGA Gov’t Shutdown as Travel Worries Grow

Speakers to highlight need for Republicans to stop cutting healthcare, end growing crisis around shutdown

MSP AIRPORT – At 12:00 p.m. on Oct. 13, at the MSP Airport, Sen. Zaynab Mohamed, Rep. Emma Greenman, educators and other Minnesotans will speak out about their frustration as the Trump/MAGA shutdown is causing stress and concerns about flight delays for Minnesota families ahead of the busy MEA travel weekend.

Speakers will highlight the added frustration that this shutdown could end if Trump and MAGA would stop blocking efforts to lower healthcare costs and roll back devastating cuts they passed earlier this year.

Young people speak out about the government shutdown, and about the corporate greed that’s ruining our society.

Workers, faith leaders, and healthcare providers came together last week to call out Mayo for putting profit over people - closing 6 critical rural facilities because rural healthcare isn’t cost-effective.

This decision comes after a year of record revenue, and leaves rural Minnesotans driving hours for any kind of critical healthcare. This is a symptom of corporate healthcare greed.

We Make Minnesota

In Minnesota we know that we pull through by pulling together. From Minneapolis to Moorhead, no matter what we look like or where we come from, we want the best for one another and our families and we pitch in for each other to leave things better off for our kids.

But, right now, some politicians and their wealthy friends, want to divide us based on our race or where we live—hoping that if we fear our neighbor--we might look the other way while they undermine our public schools, threaten our health care, hand kickbacks to the largest corporations and block our efforts to put our families first.

But Minnesotans won’t fall for it. We know that, together, we make our future and we make Minnesota. Together, we have the power to pick politicians who will prioritize caring for all of us just as we care for one another.

From small towns to the suburbs to the cities, no matter what we look like or what is in our wallets, we know we are better off together.
