What do you believe about “endings?”
What do you believe about “rejections?”
What do you believe about “no’s?”

Your beliefs are a part of your personality and you were not born with either one. You grew then both in the soil of your neurological geography. You decide the meaning you make of your life. There is no right or wrong answer.

The question is do you like your life? Do you like the outcomes of your relationships (professional & personal)? You are a contributing factor in how they are, which means you can change them.

The belief that self-confidence comes through success is an incomplete sentence.

First we have to understand what self-confidence is. Unfortunately, I couldn’t come up with one answer. Because it truly depends on your value system and your culture.

Through the lens of an embodied, neural reality, self-confidence could be considered self-trust. A leaning toward perfectionism or strong self-criticism can be deeply rooted in an insecure attachment to the self. Simply put. We do not or cannot trust ourselves.

One of the surest ways to increase your self-trust is recover from what we perceive as failure. Recognizing that you can recover, you can sit with yourself through the wreckage, the rubble will build self-confidence in that your body learns that you can survive failure and that life continues to give you opportunities.

The ability to decipher the language of your body will increase your relational capacity and communication patterns.

It will also support your self-care practices lowering your risk for stress related illnesses and contribute to your long-term goals in life.

Every Executive or C-suite professional is working out these skills across their career but you won't find many people teaching talking or educating on it.

Mental health and self-care are yours to explore, and ultimately, your responsibility. You do you and if something doesn’t recharge you, push the boundaries until it does.

As humans, we are in relationship with how people respond to our ideas, beliefs, and emotions. This is true everywhere, especially in the workplace.

It can be disappointing, frustrating, and demotivating when individuals or teams respond defensively to changes initiatives.

Watching someone else react to your ideas does not have to hurt or diminish your confidence or connection with them.

Feedback is a part of leadership. It does not have to feel lonely or hurtful to you. There is a different way.
