Minnesota Wildflower Equity Initiative The Wildflower Equity Initiative (WEI) supports teachers who identify as Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC) in attaining the necessary skills and resources to open and lead Wildflower Montessori schools that serve their communities.

Today, January 9, 2023 marks the grand opening of Acacia Montessori, an authentic Montessori School with a Somali enrichment emphasis in Apple Valley, MN. It has been a pleasure and a privilege to work alongside this amazing team of educators over the course of the last 18 months. It is a multicultural, Spanish and English bilingual program supporting language acquisition and cultural competency in children ages three through third grade.
