Many thanks again to everyone who donated to our Give-to-the-Max Day! Your generosity is much appreciated! See the photo for the results: here are 2 new cribs we assembled today (thank you Denise and family!!), and 2 new diaper changing stations and shelving units have also arrived and are waiting their turn! Our new infant room is almost ready, there are just a couple of finishing touches missing, so that our licensor can visit and give us the green light. In the photo you can see our beautiful new kitchenette area with lots of storage and a fun pattern countertop. We are so exited to move our infants soon! The whole team at CELC wish you a wonderful Holiday Season, and thank you again for supporting our children and staff!

Creative Early Learning Center of RLC We are a non-religious outreach ministry of Richfield Lutheran Church, founded in 1974. We welcome families of all cultural and religious backgrounds. We provide early learning and child care services for children 6 weeks to 10 years.

Give to the Max Day MN is November 17! Early giving is underway! Please consider a donation to CELC, as we expand our childcare center from 7 to 11 rooms, to serve our community better! We are blessed with a wonderfully diverse group of students, families, and teachers.

As an ELCA Lutheran Church, we strive to be God's hands in the world, and to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for our children to learn and grow, and for our staff to be respected and appreciated. This is one of the many ways we serve our community.

We calculated our budgets for construction in January... well, we all know what happened with inflation!

We are reaching out to our community to help us with cubbies, cots, shelving, toys, games, as well as white boards and blinds to finish our beautiful new rooms, and make all our children feel welcome, keep them engaged and help them to learn and grow!

We are also planning a new, large staff lounge with a kitchenette and computer stations. Please consider a contribution to help us serve our children, staff and community better. Any amount is welcome, and all gifts are greatly appreciated! Thank you and God bless!

CELC will be closed on Monday, September 5th for Labor Day. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 6th for usual programming.

It has been a fun-packed day at Creative Early Learning Center. We got to celebrate Grandparent's Day, bike day for the Cool Cats and Rainbows, Love Bugs water day, and the Happy Faces even had a very parent reader join their class this morning.

We want to say thank you to all the grandma's and grandpa's that were able to attend Grandparent's Day! It was a really special morning for the kids and we hope to do it again in the fall!

It has been a very special day for CELC!

On Wednesday, July 27th, CELC will be hosting a Grandparents Day! We will be serving breakfast and will have a special craft for the grandparents to make with their grand child. It should be a very special morning. Please find the sign ups outside of your child's classroom.

Yesterday was a busy one with the reptile show and the CELC family picnic, but it certainly was a day to remember! Thank you to Monty's Traveling Reptile Show for the interactive, informative and fun presentation, and for letting our CELC children pet so many cool reptiles!

Thank you to all the families who made it out to our CELC family picnic last night. It felt to good to be able to sit down and eat some good foods and gather as a school. If you were not able to make it last night, we hope to see you at the next one!

Tuesday, June 28th marks CELC's summer kick off with a visit from Monty's Reptile Show! The show for Cubs, Toddlers and Love Bugs will be held from 10:00-10:45, and for Happy Faces, Cool Cats and Rainbows from 11:00-11:45. The kids will get to experience a tortoise, snakes, lizards and even get to hold a baby alligator! This event will be held in our CELC gym. It should be an amazing day! 🐢🐍🦎
