A girl walking home went viral after she was seen carrying an airsoft TOY gun to protect herself from monkeys that steal food. She is from Lopburi Thailand which is home to thousands of monkeys that roam freely, often stealing food and chasing residents, making daily life a nuisance for locals.

According to local reports, the girl, identified as Noey, said she was tired of losing her snacks to the monkeys and decided to carry the airsoft to scare them away. The photo was captured by a wildlife photographer and quickly went viral online, with some commenting “Dora is preparing to defend herself against ICE.”

This draws increasing attention to the unusual but practical way residents adapt to living alongside the animals to protect themselves and survive.
