Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity - Gamma Nu Chapter

This Saturday, some of our Brothers had the opportunity to do yardwork and clean up the neighborhood for the elderly and those with limited mobility, helping build up our local community!

This scholarship is for those who join Alpha Tau Omega at the University of Minnesota during fall rush. The recipient of the scholarship will receive a one time $750 scholarship. In order to be eligible for the scholarship you must be a new member of ATO, a winner will be selected at random following the weeks of fall rush.
We are looking for men who are dedicated in their academics, building leadership skills, and want to promote positive change around and outside the campus community.

This last weekend, our president, Colby Meyer and Chaplin Noah Schultz had the opportunity to attend the Alpha Tau Omega national Congress to celebrate other taus from around the country and to prepare for fall rush!

Welcome back, gophers! We hope that all of you are having a great first week back to class! The brothers of the chapter look forward to everything coming up this spring semester!

This weekend, some of our executive officers, including two of our newest brothers, had the opportunity to attend the annual President’s Retreat in Chicago. They had a great time learning how to be an effective leader and brother as well as getting the chance to meet and talk to brothers from other chapters across the country!

Thank you to our wonderful alumni for hosting the annual all class reunion! Always a pleasure to come out and spend time with you all.

This coming weekend we will be participating in the 2022 Walk For Thought hosted by the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance. Raising awareness and funding for Traumatic Brain Injuries is extremely near and dear to our hearts. Every year in the United States alone there are over 1.5 million people that will sustain a TBI, and last year our President, Eli Wurster, was among those affected. He suffered a severe Traumatic Brain Injury after undergoing an accident in March of 2021. Against the odds, he has since made a full recovery and return to “normal” life. However, not everyone is nearly as lucky and many TBI patients are left with lifelong debilitating effects as a result of the brain damage. We are humbly asking for your aid in helping us give back to others going through a similar situation as we had a year ago. We will be taking donations through our custom donation page, and any amount is welcome and more than appreciated! This past weekend our President and Vice President had the honor of traveling down to Orlando, FL for the 2022 ATΩ National Congress. It was a great weekend filled with insightful workshops (and even a quick trip to Universal Studios), and we even came away with some hardware (Scholarship award for our academics and Upper Alpha award recognizing our BOT)! Get ready Fall 2022, Gamma Nu is coming for you!
