After a lot of careful consideration, I have decided to take the summer off from tutoring. I will still be available for private evaluations if needed but will not be offering tutoring. I plan to be back the following summer! If you are one of my summer regulars and would like some ideas for how you can work with your child at home, give me a call and we can talk through some ideas!

So excited to see everyone tomorrow -06/10/25! Just wanted to mention a few things. Please have your child use the restroom before coming to their session. I have a really big dog who is very sweet but also very scared of everyone and can be very intimidating. I would prefer the kids do not have to go into the house because of this. Also, if you will plan to pick your child up 5 to 10 minutes before the hour ends so I can have a chance to run to the restroom as well in between sessions. 🤦‍♀️ And last, and most important, please remember your child's homework bag. Activities are changed or added to each week. Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!!!

Summer is just around the corner...or already here for many of you! Don't forget the magic of reading every day to really turn your child's academic career around! Audio books are a great option as well to expose your child to richer language and fluent readers!!

Update to the update... I am full for this summer! 😭 I will update again if any thing changes. I am available for learning disability evaluations. However, the school district you reside in can provide an evaluation for free.

I am so excited for summer and to see all my sweet babies again...and possibly meet some new ones. This summer I will only be providing tutoring one day a week. The dates will be June 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, July 8th , and 15th. I have limited spots available (5 left). Please PM me as soon as possible so I can get your kiddo on my calendar. The cost will be $300 for the 6 sessions, due before the first session. Each session is 45 minutes to one hour and lessons will be based on your child's individual needs. Students will go home weekly with targeted activities to do daily...including books on their independent level to read. If you have any questions, please reach out.

If you are interested in reading tutoring for your child this summer, I will be providing sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 6 weeks this summer. Your child can attend 1 or 2 sessions per week. Each session is 45 minutes to an hour and will be targeted for your child's specific needs! DM me for more information!

I have an open spot available for reading tutoring/dyslexia therapy on Thursdays at 4:15 starting next week...

Here is a little information about my program:

*Each session is 45 to 60 minutes.
*Each session is tailored to your child's individual needs.
*The first session is a screening to evaluate your child's knowledge of letters and sounds, application of phonics rules, sight words, reading fluency, and comprehension.
*The cost is $50 per session due on the day of your child's session.
*Each session takes place in my home in Mineral Wells. I have a classroom set up right off of my garage.
*After each session, your child will be sent home with a homework bag with quick activities to practice nightly and books to read on their reading level. It is required for your child to bring their bag with them to every session. The more they practice, the better the results.
*Most important goal for me is to foster a love for reading in your child. I truly believe any child can learn to read, we just have to meet them where they are at and provide them with the tools and confidence to be a thriving reader!!!

Encourage your kids to read but also listening to books can be a great tool to develop your child's vocabulary and to foster a love for reading!!!
