90-minute delayed opening tomorrow Wednesday, February 25th

Greetings Canfield Panthers!
Due to the forecast of additional snowfall and icy road conditions expected just prior to arrival time tomorrow morning, the Mine Hill School District will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening schedule, Wednesday, February 25th.

Adjusted start times are as follows:

Canfield Avenue School (CAS): 10:00 AM

ABC Growing Tree Preschool: 10:15 AM

Please note that there will be no before care or breakfast served.

Delayed Opening Tomorrow - Feb 24th
Greetings Canfield Panthers!
In order to give everyone sufficient time to dig out from The Blizzard of 2026, the Mine Hill Township School District will operate on a 90-minute delayed opening tomorrow, Tuesday, February 24th.
Adjusted start times are as follows:

Canfield Avenue School (CAS): 10:00 AM

ABC Growing Tree Preschool: 10:15 AM

Please note that there will be no before care or breakfast served.

CAS Closed Monday 2-23
Greetings Canfield Panthers,
Due to the State of Emergency declared in response to the upcoming snow storm, the Mine Hill School District will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 23rd.
All programs are canceled, including ABC Growing Tree and Canfield Kids.

Board of Education Approves School Calendars

The Mine Hill Board of Education has approved the annual school calendars for the next three school years. These calendars are now available for review and include key dates such as the first and last day of school, holidays, and scheduled breaks.

Parking Update – Baker Street Restrictions Lifted
We have been informed that parking restrictions on Baker Street have been lifted. Normal parking may resume.

Parking will be restricted on Baker Street
We were just informed that the Town is temporarily suspending parking on Baker Street to allow for additional snow removal. Parking will continue to be restricted tomorrow.
Please plan accordingly, obey posted signage, and drive carefully as crews continue their work. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
