Tekoi Thursday: Education is valued.
As Pacific Islanders, education is important to us. It is a doorway to opportunity, stability, and growth for us and our families. All too often, our students and families face a bias that education is not as important as family. The reality is that family and education are both valued equally for different reasons, with education and family being interdependent.

Pacific Possible: Education Why does education matter for the Pacific? Young leaders across the Pacific Islands share their thoughts on the value of education.

Whanau Wednesday: "Aloha Is" by Tammy Paikai
Aloha is more than just "hello" and "good-bye". This book is about the spirit of aloha beyond "hello" and "good-bye". Following the read aloud, there is a game of I Spy that you can play with your keiki (child).
