What happens when an MCP alum inspires the next generation?

Our scholars had the incredible opportunity to experience a live cello performance by MCP alumnus Malik Johnson during their visit to Betty Brinn Children's Museum. Seeing someone who once walked the same halls now sharing his passion and talent reminds our scholars that their own dreams are possible.

Thank you, Malik, for showing our scholars that hard work, creativity, and perseverance can take them anywhere. We couldn't be more proud to call you part of the MCP family. 💜

We welcomed MCP alum Jade Charon back to where her journey began — this time to pour into the next generation.

Jade returned to read her book Gold to our scholars and share her story. Today she’s an internationally recognized artist, filmmaker, choreographer, professor, and founder… but it all started right here at Milwaukee College Prep.

Seeing our alumni come back to uplift the community that helped shape them is what the MCP legacy is all about.
