It’s National College Decision Day!!! We love this day at MCP because we get to see where our alumni are going. It’s like draft day, but the college version. Our mission at MCP states, “Knowledge plus character paves the road to college and beyond.” Alumni let us know what your college and beyond is. It's THANKFUL THURSDAY. Therefore we want to show our gratefulness for our alumni and all their greatness. Today we spotlight GERMYAH HEART!!!

A graduate of Texas Southern University and Morehouse School of Medicine, alumnus Germyah Heart believes MCP’s rigorous curriculum not only sharpened her skills, but also fostered a growth mindset—teaching through experience that hard work and dedication could lead to extraordinary achievements. Today Germyah is pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor, and is currently working for the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) where she leads state and local campaign health equity initiatives.
