We call it love.
But sometimes it’s attachment, performance, or the need to be chosen.

I sat down with to talk about romantic love vs. spiritual love—
and what changes when we stop chasing fire and start choosing peace in partnership.

If you’re feeling the backlash, you’re not doing it wrong. Some endings aren’t failures; they’re awakenings.

For the woman who knows she can’t go back…
where are you still staying in something that isn’t true?

As a new year ends and another begins, I can’t help but reflect on what an incredible journey I’ve been on for the past five years. Following my heart, finding my faith in moments where I felt surrounded by darkness, struggling to see the light.

Still, even in the moments where I was all the way down on my knees, a miracle happened in the form of a phone call, a friend, beautiful words on a page, and sometimes, just a silent, solitary prayer or meditation.

My most secret prayer to the universe was to build a life of love, the highest levels of love of self and other–in my career, my family, my friendships, and most of all, a true love partnership.

Thank God I couldn’t see how it would all turn out. Because what manifested for me was more magical than anything my mind could’ve ever conjured. All I can say is, I am tremendously grateful for all of the beloved souls in my life who supported me, who have been sisters to me, who have seen me especially when I couldn’t see myself. I wouldn’t be here without any one of you, and I will live the rest of my life like a moving prayer of gratitude for all this love .

There is so much I could say about this picture, and especially the beautiful man in it. But sometimes words just aren’t enough, even for a professional wordsmith. So, I’ll just say this.

In law, there is a Latin phrase: “Res ipsa loquitur.” It means the thing speaks for itself.

This picture speaks for itself. XO

I wouldn’t be here without the healers, bodyworkers, and space holders who helped me on my journey.

They remind us that healing isn’t about fixing — it’s about returning and remembering.

On November 2, my friend Carrie is co-hosting — a beautiful gathering of wellness practitioners, vendors, and gentle tools for everyday healing, growth, and evolution.

Come meet the people who support us in walking paths of purpose, transformation, liberation, and love. Because we’re all just walking each other home.

We’re not meant to make ourselves smaller to be loved.
Openheartedness can coexist with boundaries.
Love can exist with self-respect.

Repeat after me:
“My openness is an invitation, not a sacrifice.”

You’ve got this, Beloved.

Love,
Ash XO

When the stones slipped from his hand, the boy finally understood: Aliveness doesn’t hand us certainty—it invites us to trust the path.

Maybe we don’t need more signs.
Maybe we need to stop asking if, and start walking AS IF…

Love,
Ash XO

Yes, I’ve spent years fighting my body into submission and scrutinizing my face.
So, I get it.
And I hold no judgment toward anyone doing what feels right and true for them.

I know the pressure we’re under—especially as women in a culture that rewards youth and beauty with visibility, affection, and power.

Many of us made silent vows: My body will never be unseen, dismissed, or criticized again.
And so, we learned to perfect and perform—
to rest our worth on how much we’re wanted, admired, or adored.

I’ve lived that way.
I’ve rested my worth on other people’s praise (or their silence).
But now, I’m exploring a different way of being.

To let my face and body move naturally.
To touch my skin with reverence instead of critique.
To look upon myself with gratitude—
to glow from the inside out.

If you’re on a similar path—perfecting, pausing, or pivoting—I see you.
This is your face. Your body. Your choice. Your sacred evolution.

But know this, beloved:
Whether made-up or barefaced, sculpted or soft,
you were born beautiful. And you still are.

Let your light shine through your being.
It’s safe to be seen.

You are enough—always, in all expressions, at every age. XO

Longing isn’t something to fix — it’s an invitation.

It shows us where our hearts are stretching toward wholeness.

When you feel the ache, meet it with tenderness, not urgency.

Presence softens absence. And what you tend to with love, eventually meets you in kind.

You’ve got this, Beloved. Keep going.

Love,
Ash XO

Sunday Fun Day ✨

One day a week, we choose being over doing.

No pressure to go anywhere, no big plans to check off—just space to breathe, restore, and move at the rhythm of home.

Everyone gets to do what they need most—read, rest, ride, reset—while we slowly tend to what makes the week feel lighter: laundry, lists, little resets.

It’s not about getting it all done. It’s about remembering that we belong to ourselves, and to each other, before the world asks us to perform again. Hope it resonates!

So many women carry the ache of feeling like an afterthought — overlooked, minimized, left waiting to be chosen. But you were never an afterthought. You are the afterglow of love: the warmth that lingers, the light that carries forward.

This is your truth, your radiance, your worth. I AM. You ARE. We ARE, beloved.

Love,
Ash XO

For so long, I lived to be the good girl—pleasing, polished, perfect.
And even after I walked away from that script, I carried the same weight into parenting.

Am I a good enough parent?
Do I measure up?
Will my children remember me as enough?

Here’s what I’ve learned:
There’s nothing wrong with sparkle, with trips, with experiences.
Those things can be beautiful.
But they are not all that’s meaningful.
They are not what matters.

What our children also need is the invisible labor.
The noticing.

The clean clothes.
The socks and underwear that fit.
The pencils sharpened and the homework packed.
The healthy food waiting on the table.
The parent who sees the unseen — and keeps showing up.

The one who may not be a weekend hero, but who puts their heart into being HOME.

And that is what I give them.
Not perfectly, but faithfully.

If you’re the parent doing the invisible labor and wondering if it counts, please know this: it does. Noticing what goes unnoticed is love. And love is what lasts.
