In March of 2020, America shut down for a once-in-a-century pandemic; in September of 2022, President Joe Biden declared it was over. O...

GRIEF is Beast - Milwaukee Courier Weekly Newspaper
Kweku’s Korner By Kweku Akyirefi Amoasi Grief is simply defined as a DEEP SORROW. Grief can come from many situations. It can be from an unrequited love. The loss of a job. For Fathers Day, I went to Abundant Faith Integrity Church led by Pastor Dr. Robert Pyles. He opened his pulpit to 7 faithful men to discuss the characteristics of a good father. 7 points on how to be a provider, protector, leader, teacher, friend, helper, and encourager. My cousin, Darryl Moore, was one of those speakers. He spoke on the topic of Teacher, using the childhood game “Simon Seyz”. It blessed my spiriit so much, I asked him to put it into an article. I pray this blessed your spirit.

I had the best time today on the radio!! When I say co-host Dr. Alisia Moutry held me down. If you only knew!! Then we had Rosalind McClain of Healing Starts Today on and she brought the knowledge and the gifts.
We have one copy of her book: Smoking Out the Shadows. A must have e in the collection for those working with young girls who turned left and found her way back right. A story of love and triumph despite the trials that tried to keep her down.
Also, a journal will be given away. It is written in Spanish, so that would be a plus that you read it.
I will place a copy in the comments, if you want just put your name under it and I will get it to you.
Then we finished with WI 12th ASSEMBLY DISTRICT Woman LaKeshia Myers. She made her case on why she should win your vote. Listen close to her ideas and vision. And, make sure you vote!! I will put the Dora Drake interview down and you can listen to them both side by side. Our community has two women with two different voices but one theme of upliftment and service. Exercise your right to vote and pick who deem would be best for our community.
