The recent election was one of the most divisive and uncivil in modern American history. In light of some of the rhetoric that was used, there is understandable consternation and uncertainty among members of the MATC community.

MATC is committed to being a diverse and welcoming place for all of our students, faculty, counselors and staff. It is what makes MATC such a wonderful, important and successful college.
One of MATC’s core values is valuing and fostering a diverse community. We are proud that we educate more students of color than all the colleges and universities in Wisconsin combined.
In these contentious times it is critical that we make clear to all of our students regardless of their race, creed, immigration status, sexual orientation or disability that their lives and success matter.
Diversity and tolerance are central to student success and to our mission as an institution of higher learning

AFT Local 212 and MATC remain firm in our commitment to supporting all members of our community and adhering to our values of diversity and integrity.
