Environmental Awareness Center at Havenwoods State Park (6141 N Hopkins St, Milwaukee, WI 53209) There is access to the lobby, restrooms and one of the classrooms in case of inclement weather. Participants
Kids from ages 2 to 6 years old are welcome. Each child needs to be accompanied by an adult. Cla
sses will max out at 12 children plus chaperones. This course is great for beginners and intermediate speakers of Spanish, but all are welcome. You just need to bring a water bottle and a snack. Please dress your child for outdoor exploration and fitting for the weather. Content
Each class will cover a different topic, such as colors, numbers, shapes, habitats, animals, seasons, weather, phenology… The content will be taught in ways that are exciting and compelling to children such as through stories, games, songs, puppet shows, arts and crafts, traditional Latin dances, literature, science, or cooking, for example. You can join the session anytime, but it is better if attendees register for a whole session to get a more comprehensive understanding of the session. Space is limited and, please, note that a minimum of 6 registrants is required. If the class does not reach the minimum of 6 kids per session you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.
