Huge thank you to GE Healthcare for bringing 700 volunteers to six of our schools today. Volunteers painted classrooms, railings, and doors; landscaped; assembled desks; and more. Milwaukee Parkside School for the Arts will be looking even more beautiful on Day 1. You might be able to catch a sneak peak at Open House on August 31. Stay tuned for more details.

When people talk about “Friends With Benefits” we assume they mean people like Erin Dentice who brings us AMAZING greens from the hoop houses at Milwaukee Parkside School for the Arts.

We cannot over emphasize our gratitude and appreciation for the incredible contributions and sacrifices the teachers and staff of Parkside have made over the past few years. Thank you.

Does the school have any families that may need clothes? I have a size 5/6 girls wardrobe (pictured) and a boys size 8/9 wardrobe if anyone is in need of long sleeves, pants, a couple heavier winter jackets. Feel free to pm me if you or someone you know is interested and wants to keep private 🙂

What time is the winter concert tomorrow?
We’re normally very strict about having no red or yellow within our neon walls, but we couldn’t resist these gorgeous tomatoes grown by Milwaukee Parkside School for the Arts! What amazing resources our students have in Milwaukee Public Schools! We love these beauties on our vegetarian (or vegan!) DaVinci pizza. What would you put them on?
Big shout out to our Middle School Forensics team who completed their first (and hopefully, only) virtual season! These students attended many virtual practices after school hours, and participated in virtual tournaments on Weeknights, Saturday and Sunday mornings throughout the months of February and March. We have five members of our team who have qualified for the State competition on Sunday March 21st.
Way to go Bluejays! 💙 💚
