Today, Sigma Upsilon Lambda Chapter - Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., continued our 2026 Go to High School - Go to College National Program. This program, established in 1922, concentrates on the importance of completing secondary and collegiate education as a road to advancement. Our session today was on “High School & College: Your Future Starts Now", conducted by President Bro. Al Smith!

The chapter has worked with Washington Middle School Heat for the past several year and we continue to focus on the youth development and education of young men in the community. We are thankful for the partnerships of Washington Middle School Heat and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, for the students time and also the funding that allows us to make an impact, consistently.

We will continue to positively impact lives here in NE Wisconsin!

Last night, the brothers of Sigma Upsilon Lambda Chapter - Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., provided book scholarships to the top African American male and female at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh! The presentation of these book scholarships happens during the university’s black history month and their MLK Program & Award Ceremonies. Alpha’s very own Bro. Representative Kalan Haywood II, was the keynote speaker!

We are honored to make a small, but hopefully lastly, impact in these students lives. Brothers of ETA PI joined us and participated in this years event as well. And we were blessed to hear from the Divine Voices of the Valley tiny desk gospel choir- they were AMAZING (We don’t own the rights to this music). The group is directed by our very own Bro. Dr. Alphonso Simpson!

This fundraiser is proudly hosted by Northeastern Wisconsin chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated. As esteemed organizations dedicated to service, academic excellence and activism, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our youth.
