KG Math Tutoring Services

Dear Parents,

It’s almost that time! SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER!🥳☀️🕶️

I'm excited to offer summer tutoring sessions to help your child maintain their academic momentum and prepare for the upcoming school year. Tutoring can be held at our nearby Public Library (Milton,Danville, Lewisburg) or your house (whichever is easiest for you!). Sessions will be held in one hour increments for $50. Ideally, these sessions are weekly but I completely understand if that is not your interest.

Here's what you can expect from my tutoring sessions:

1. Customized Learning Plans: I will work closely with your child to create a personalized tutoring plan that maximizes their potential.

2. Engaging Instruction: Learning should be fun and interactive! I use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, educational games, and multimedia resources, to keep your child engaged and motivated.

3. Regular Progress Updates: You'll receive progress updates on your child's academic performance and areas of improvement, ensuring that we're all working towards the same goals.

4. Flexible Scheduling: I understand that summer schedules can be hectic! That's why I offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate your family's needs, whether you prefer morning, afternoon, a specific week day, etc.

5. Safe and Supportive Learning Environment: Your child's well-being is my top priority. I create a safe and supportive learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically and personally.

Hello! My name is Krislyn. I have a bachelors degree in applied mathematics and hold a teaching certificate in mathematics 7-12. I offer MATH TUTORING services for all grades K-12 and even some college level math courses. I also tutor for test prep like SAT/ACT or even GED. I offer my services via Zoom or In Person.

I was a math teacher in a middle and high school in Florida for four years before resigning to move back home to PA. I graduated from Danville High School in 2012. Since back in PA, I have substitute taught in the Danville School District. I taught Liberal Arts Math 1 & 2, Intensive Math, Intermediate Math, 7th Grade Advanced Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Honors Geometry. I am familiar with middle and high school math curriculums. I am able to help prep for the PA Keystone exams.
