501(c)(3) nonprofit HORSE SANCTUARY and EQUINE-ASSISTED LEARNING CENTER in central Pennsylvania. WellBeings is also an EDUCATION CENTER.

WHAT WE DO:

WellBeings is a 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT HORSE SANCTUARY. We accept horses that need a soft place to land, regardless of age, trauma, or lack of training. Although we specialize in Arabians, we welcome horses of any breed. Our horses serve as teachers, and humans facilitate coaching sessions with them to help members of organizations – nonprofits, small businesses, larger local enterprises

– build and improve skills related to leadership, communication, teamwork, and other challenges. OUR RESOURCES ARE LIMITED:

• We are grateful for any FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION you might wish to make, no matter the size. Because we are a 501(c)(3), your donation will be tax deductible; as required by the IRS, we provide receipts for donations greater than $250.

• We also depend on VOLUNTEERS for the majority of the routine labor to care for the horses, including daily stall cleaning, horse grooming, and more. We welcome volunteers with and without horse experience. KEY STAKEHOLDERS

• Our horses
We care deeply for our horses and help volunteers and clients learn to bring respect and love to their interactions with them. We recognize that most horses have never had a person truly listen to them, not only with their ears but with their whole bodies, hearts, and minds. That is our starting point. We help horses recover from trauma and neglect so that they can grow to trust people and to become more self-confident.

• Our clients
We partner with our horses to provide our clients with experiences of learning, professional growth, and personal transformation. Our team helps clients become the best version of themselves, developing better relationships with others and thereby facilitating more productive and fulfilling lives.

• Our volunteers
We are grateful for our volunteers, whose active roles as members of the WellBeings clan are crucial to our ability to provide transformational experiences for our horses and for our clients. We welcome each volunteer to our community and offer them opportunities to grow, to gain a sense of belonging, and to transform, as they come to value deep connection with horses and with other people.

The horses enjoyed the beautiful day yesterday! Timmy was enjoying being outside and was trying to get Dillon to play. Dillon was enjoying basking in the sunshine!
