🚨 We are excited to announce our INTENSIVE SUMMER WRESTLING CAMP for 2026! Both Luke and his brother Ethen, who were both All-Americans for the University of Iowa, will be running this 5 day camp. This is something these boys have been wanting to do for a long time! You aren't going to find another camp like this in the state of Utah.

🏆 We are opening this camp up to ONLY 40 MALE ATHLETES who are 8th-12th grade. This is not a beginner camp and will contain the intensity so many of you are craving. First come first serve for those 40 spots.

Gearing up for our Freestyle and Greco Spring Season starting March 2nd! We will be going twice a week in the evenings for March and April. This season is going to have a room that includes all boy and girl athletes grades 5th-12th.

So sad to see our very first White Rhinos wrestling season come to an end — but what an amazing end-of-year banquet to wrap it up!
Just like the entire season, our White Rhinos did not disappoint. They showed up, celebrated each other’s awards, shared memories from the season, and said plenty of “see you next year.” The support, teamwork, and family atmosphere made this first year is truly unforgettable.
We are beyond grateful to our White Rhinos family for an incredible inaugural season. Thank you to our athletes, coaches, and families for building something so special. This is only the beginning — we can’t wait to see what next season brings!

Two Days. One Goal. No Regrets. 🦏

What better way to end the season than spending two fun-filled days at Super State? Every single wrestler showed up ready to battle, leaving everything they had on the mat.

We promised to give the state a taste of what White Rhino Wrestling is all about, and our athletes delivered. The grit, the heart, and the sheer determination shown this weekend proved that we don’t just wrestle—we charge.

Hey everyone! This will be our last week of practice for the Folkstyle Season. We are needing to change Thursday's practice this week to WEDNESDAY due to Super State's On Site Weigh Ins taking place on Thursday. Practice will be Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30pm.

On-Site Weigh In details are inside GroupMe. Please note there are multiple times to weigh in. Thursday is for everybody and recommended. Let us know if you have questions :)

What an awesome night for our wrestling community to come together and enjoy some time off the mat by watching Standout! At times, we are all the underdog. As Ben invited us to do; Go, be true to yourself and Standout!

Thanks to everyone’s help and less than a week’s notice, we were able to sell out the Utah Theater with 320 seats 💪🏻 There is power in numbers.

There is strength in community and building this sport together. We are breaking down barriers; everyone who wants to be a part of this great movement is welcome. Each day we are working to put Cache Valley on the map as a place to be reckoned with!

Since our planning for this private viewing, the theaters in Logan have seen the demand for this film and are now offering it at multiple locations.

This Thursday, Utah Theater will be showing it again to general admission.

Friday and Saturday, Megaplex in Providence will add to their offerings.

Exciting News! 🎥 🍿
We’ve rented out the Utah Theatre on Tuesday, January 20th for a private showing of Standout—a story of a wrestling underdog.

Standout tells the true story of Ben Kjar, a native Utah wrestler born with a rare craniofacial disorder who went through multiple surgeries growing up. He was told he’d never be able to play sports and was bullied for much of his life, but he never gave up. Ben beat the odds and went on to become the first ever All-American wrestler for Utah Valley University. This is a great family-friendly movie!

To get your ticket, please send a Venmo to for $8. Please label it “Standout” + Number of tickets. The Venmo will serve as your admittance to the show.

We have decided to bring this movie to Cache Valley for a special viewing and will be the only chance to see the movie, unless you are willing to drive down to Farmington. We want to come together as a wrestling community and support our local friend and leader.

It’s a great story, and a great night to spend together. All are invited! Seats are limited and will sell out, but we giving first priority to our White Rhino community.

The best wrestlers learn how to lose before they learn how to win.

Loss in wrestling is unavoidable.
And it is personal.

There is nowhere to hide.
No teammate to absorb the mistake.
No system to blame.

This makes early losses difficult.
Emotionally confronting.
Often humbling.

But this is exactly where growth begins.

Losing forces honesty.
It reveals weaknesses without negotiation.
It exposes gaps in preparation, conditioning, and mindset.

Wrestlers who survive this stage learn an essential distinction.

A loss is an event.
Not an identity.

They learn to review, not retreat.
To analyze instead of self-destructing.
To separate who they are from how they performed.

This process builds resilience.

Those who learn to lose correctly gain patience.
They stop chasing shortcuts.
They stop defining themselves by outcomes.

By the time winning arrives, they are prepared to handle it.
Because they were shaped by failure first.

Many of the best wrestlers were not early winners.
They were early learners.

Wrestling will break your kid’s heart at some point.

Not maybe.
Not if.
At some point.

They will lose.
They will cry.
They will feel embarrassed.
They will question if they’re even good.

And that is exactly why wrestling works.

Because wrestling teaches a rare skill:

How to lose without falling apart.

How to work without guarantees.
How to face pressure alone.
How to take responsibility when it would be easier to blame someone.

No shortcuts.
No excuses.
No hiding.

Just effort.
Just accountability.

Most kids never learn this.

They grow up thinking confidence comes from winning.
In wrestling, confidence comes from surviving.

Years from now they might forget the scores.
They might forget the brackets.

But they won’t forget this feeling:

I did something hard.
I didn’t quit.
And I’m still standing.

That lesson stays forever.
