It’s wonderful that our town has so many families and caregivers who truly care about our kids but it’s important to remember that every daycare deserves appreciation, not just the ones that get the spotlight. Behind the scenes, there are countless smaller, home-based daycares working hard. They are teaching, nurturing, and keeping this community running in ways that often go unseen. These caregivers aren’t just “babysitting” they’re shaping little lives and supporting families every single day.
It can be easy to celebrate what’s most visible, but our community is stronger when we recognize all the hands holding it up. Every daycare big, small, center, or home-based plays a vital role in helping parents work, helping children grow, and keeping our town connected. So here’s to giving credit where it’s due and to every caregiver who shows up, loves big, and helps this community thrive. You’re seen, you’re appreciated, and you matter. 🫶
