COS Faculty and Staff are invited to join the 2026 Board of Trustees Candidate Forum on Monday, March 23rd in Sequoia Room 1 or on Zoom. We have invited candidates seeking our union endorsements for Wards 1, 2, and 5. Unlike working at a private company, we have the great opportunity to be a part of the democratic process and work to elect board members who value our collective contributions.

Votes for who our unions want to endorse will happen in April, so this is the time to show up and hear from candidates about their vision for Sequoias CCD!

Fresno-area community college district faculty seeking raises A Fresno-area community college instructors union is negotiating for higher wages. It also wants to oust SCCCD Chancellor Carole Goldsmith.
