Wellness Wednesday | Sometimes Wellness Looks Like This…

I haven’t shown up much on Facebook this week.
I haven’t talked about my work, promoted what I’m creating, or checked off everything on my list.

Instead, I’ve been Grandma. ❤️

My two baby boys are sick, and right now, being present for them comes first.

There are seasons when wellness looks like meal prepping, movement, meditation, or keeping the promises we’ve made to ourselves.

And then there are moments when wellness simply means recognizing what matters most right now—and giving ourselves permission to be there.

This week, nourishment looks different for me.

It looks like caring for little bodies that don’t feel well.
It looks like comfort, patience, rest, something warm to eat, and Grandma being close by.
It looks like slowing down instead of trying to keep up.
And it looks like reminding myself that I don't have to be productive every moment for my time to have value.

This is part of what Mindful Nourishment means to me.

Nourishment isn't only about what we put on our plates. It is also about what we give our attention to, how we care for ourselves and one another, and knowing when life is asking us to simply BE.

Sometimes self-care is doing something for yourself.

And sometimes self-care is releasing the pressure to do everything else so you can be fully present for what matters.

The work will still be there.

But these little boys won't always be little.

So this week, I’m choosing presence over productivity, love over obligation, and the sacred privilege of being Grandma. ❤️

Perhaps that is your Wellness Wednesday reminder too:

You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to rearrange the day.
You are allowed to nourish what matters most.

Mindful Nourishment begins in the soil, grows through the senses, and blooms in the spirit.

Thoughtful Thursday

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to simply be?

Not to achieve.

Not to fix.

Not to care for everyone else.

Just... be.

Somewhere along the way, many women began believing that slowing down meant falling behind.

I believed that too.

Until I discovered that healing doesn't happen in the rush.

It happens in the pause.

Mindful Nourishment is my invitation to every woman who longs for a moment to breathe again.

This isn't simply lunch or dinner.

It's an opportunity to slow down.

To reconnect with yourself.

To nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

To share meaningful conversation around a beautiful table.

To laugh.

To reflect.

To remember that your wellbeing matters too.

The dream growing quietly in my heart is to create beautiful spaces where women feel seen, welcomed, and nourished—places where healthy living feels natural because there is no pressure to perform, only permission to be present.

If your heart has been whispering that it's time to choose yourself, I'd be honored to welcome you to The Nourished Table.

🌿 Space is intentionally limited so each gathering remains personal and meaningful.

đź’› RSVPs are always appreciated so I can prepare every detail with care and love.

Food for Thought

What would become possible if you gave yourself permission to simply be—not just for an hour, but as a way of living?

Wellness Wednesday~ "Can she help me today?"

When was the last time you felt truly energized instead of simply getting through the day?

Not surviving.

Not pushing through.

Not counting the hours until bedtime.

I mean genuinely energized.

Somewhere along the way, many of us accepted exhaustion as "normal."

We wake up tired.

We rely on caffeine to get us through the morning.

We push ourselves all day.

And by evening, we have nothing left to give ourselves.

I've learned something through my own journey:

Energy isn't something you find.

It's something you cultivate through the choices you make every day.

If you're ready to begin feeling more energized, try one or two of these simple practices today:

🌿 Pause before your first bite.
Take three slow breaths before eating. This simple ritual calms your nervous system and helps you become more present.

đź’§ Drink a glass of water before reaching for another cup of coffee. Sometimes your body is asking for hydration, not more stimulation.

🚶‍♀️ Take a 10-minute walk.
Even a short walk can increase circulation, lift your mood, and restore your energy.

🍎 Choose one nourishing meal today.
Don't focus on changing everything. Ask yourself, "What's one meal that will leave me feeling energized instead of depleted?"

🌞 Step outside for five minutes.
Fresh air and natural light can reset your mind and help you feel more awake.

❤️ Ask yourself one simple question:
"What does my body need from me right now?"

Healthy living doesn't happen because we become perfect. It happens because we begin listening.

One choice.

One habit.

One day at a time.

Food for Thought

What is one small act of self-care you can give yourself today that your future self will thank you for?

I'd love to hear your answer in the comments.

Mindful Nourishment
Creating a Life Where Healthy Living Feels Natural.

This week, don't try to change your whole life. Just choose one natural next step.

I want to remind women that transformation isn't about perfection—it's about finding the next healthy practice that fits their life. Over time, Mindful Nourishment realistically offers you sustainable change instead of quick fixes.

Truth Be Told Tuesday-
"Create a Life Where Healthy Living Feels Natural"

We all want change.

More energy.

Better health.

Less stress.

A calmer mind.

A stronger body.

More joy.

But wanting change and creating change are two very different things.

For years, I thought if I just learned one more thing, read one more book, or found the perfect plan, my life would magically become healthier.

It didn't.

My life began to change the day I stopped collecting information and started practicing it.

Small choices.

Every day.

One nourishing meal.

One walk.

One boundary.

One hour of rest.

One honest conversation.

One decision to put myself back on my own priority list.

Transformation isn't built in one giant leap.

It's built in the quiet choices we make when no one is watching.

As your coach, my role isn't to hand you another list of rules to follow.

It's to help you discover the healthy practices that fit your life so naturally that they become part of who you are.

Together, we'll create habits that nourish not only your body, but also your mind, your relationships, your purpose, your finances, your environment, and your spirit.

Because true wellness isn't just about what you eat.

It's about how you live.

It's about creating a life where healthy choices no longer feel like something you have to force—they simply become your new way of living.

If you could begin strengthening just one area of your life today, where would you start?

Which pillar of wellness has been quietly asking for your attention—and what is one small action you can take this week to begin honoring it?

Momentum & Mindset Monday

I distinctly remember the moment I realized something about myself.

I was 42 years old.

An empty nester.

My children had left home to begin building lives of their own, and for the first time in many years, the house was quiet.

What I didn't expect was the silence.

Without the daily responsibilities of raising my children, I came face to face with a woman I barely recognized.

I had spent so many years taking care of everyone else that I had forgotten how to take care of myself.

The relationship I was in had never truly been nurtured.

Neither had I.

For most of my life, I had been living in survival mode.

That's when I asked myself a question that would change the direction of my life:

When did taking care of yourself become something you "fit in" instead of something you prioritize?

Today, I'd like to ask you another question—one that may be harder to answer.

Have you become so accustomed to putting yourself last that it feels uncomfortable to choose yourself?

Sit with that for a moment.

Because this isn't really a question about food.

It's a question about your worth.

It's about the life you've been living and the woman you've quietly become while taking care of everyone else.

That one question changed my life. It eventually led me to create Mindful Nourishment, because I realized women don't simply need more nutrition information—they need permission to build a life where healthy living feels natural instead of exhausting.

This September, I'm inviting a small group of women to join me for my signature online experience:

Create a Life Where Healthy Living Feels Natural

A 6-week journey designed to help you nourish your mind, body, and spirit through simple, sustainable practices that fit your real life—not someone else's.

No guilt.

No perfection.

Just honest conversations, practical strategies, and a new way of caring for yourself.

Food for Thought

Have you become so accustomed to putting yourself last that it feels uncomfortable to choose yourself?

"The gracious hand of my God was on me." (Ezra 7:9)

What if healthy living isn't hard... but the life you've been living is?

Most women already know what healthy eating looks like.

Eat more vegetables.
Drink more water.
Get enough sleep.
Move your body.

So why does it still feel so exhausting?

Because the problem isn't a lack of information.

The problem is trying to build healthy habits while living a life that constantly asks you to put yourself last.

I know that because I lived it.

For years, I neglected myself while caring for everyone else. I ignored my body's whispers until they became exhaustion. I believed being a "good woman" meant sacrificing my own needs.

What I've learned is this:

Nutrition tells you what to eat.

Mindful Nourishment teaches you how to create a life where healthy living feels natural instead of overwhelming.

This September, I'm inviting a small group of women to join me for my signature 6-week online experience.

This isn't about dieting.

It isn't about counting calories.

It isn't about perfection.

It's about learning to nourish your mind, body, and spirit so you can finally stop surviving and start living with more energy, peace, and intention.

đź“… Begins: September 1
đź•— Time: Tuesdays at 8:00 p.m. (Online)
đź’» Duration: 6 weeks
đź’˛ Investment: $100

If you've been waiting for the "right time" to put yourself back on your own priority list...

Maybe this is it.

Food for Thought

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to matter?

If that question stirred something in your heart, send me a message or comment "READY."

Let's begin this journey together.

Mindful Monday: A Woman's Return to Herself

The Woman I Forgot

"I didn't lose myself overnight.

I lost myself one small decision at a time.

One more 'yes.'

One more obligation.

One more meal eaten standing over the kitchen sink.

One more dream postponed because someone else needed me.

The frightening part wasn't that I was exhausted.

The frightening part was that exhaustion became normal.

I forgot there was another way to live.

Maybe you have too.

Today I know something different.

The woman I was trying so hard to take care of...
was me.

And she had been waiting a very long time."
