On Sunday, one of our captains was directing traffic in the parking lot of Bass Pro Shop in Bricktown when he was approached by a young girl, her mother and possibly brother. The young girl said to him something along the lines of, "I'd like to show my appreciate by giving you this gift." Too busy at the time to look in bag because of the large amount of traffic he asked the girl to place the bag in a shopping cart, which she did and then went along her way. Later, when the captain had time to look, he found this homemade cap with a thin blue line and a flashlight. A truly wonderful gesture which the captain very much appreciates.
We would really like to contact the young girl and her family so we can show our appreciation. We know it's a shot in the dark but hey, it's Facebook, and we figured if anyone could find out who the gift came from our followers could.
