When I first started preparing for boards, I got a whirl of anxiety: what if I’m not ready?!
On Friday I got a client who wanted a sleek, no layered bob, with shattered ends, which is actually not that easy of a cut if you want it balanced correctly. As I finished flat ironing her hair, checked my lines, felt for balance, and watched her happily run her fingers through her hair I felt a new rush— a rush of readiness to continue learning at higher levels.
Friday night I finished the last of my hours and clocked out of as a student for the last time, feeling exhilarated and accomplished. @ Austin Kade Academy
