Be grateful for the little things as for some, they make a big difference. Read below to see how my dear friend, Abena Agyeiwaa Antwi, has made a huge difference by providing a gift that made a huge impact. A gift that many here in America take for granted everyday.

APEX RESIDENT SPOTLIGHT: Abena Antwi and the Queen’s Lavatory. By Donna Beck-Erickson
What seems basic to some may actually change the lives of others. Some people believe what we don’t know won’t hurt us. But what if what we didn’t know could help us grow? What once seemed normal to A

This wasn’t planned!
Several years ago, Jeff came to me with the realization that he had been focused on “me, myself, and I” versus considering where the other person/people are or how what he does impacts them.
He said it was especially challenging because “I was perfect just the way I was, and it wasn’t working.” And it was impacting the rest of his life as well. He said he was oblivious to his surroundings, shallow, and felt disengaged. He also didn’t realize he had alternatives. So, he accepted this as “just how things are.”
While a part of him was hopeful, another part of him felt like he was going to be stuck with this forever.
After about 3 months of working with me, Jeff had a big shift.
He went from “me, myself, and I” to being aware how others responded to him.
He began realizing that what he does and says has an impact on others.
He realized how his choices of actions and words could make a huge difference.
He attributes this change to a shift in his awareness.
He had learned how to be more present and how that affects himself and others.
An example he wanted to share was the difference of what you are sharing (understandable in your own mind) versus how it is received (in someone else’s mind). (Note: We are not responsible for how other people receive our information, but we can have a better impact when we share our information with intention and understanding of how it might impact someone else.)
Now, his life is quite strikingly different. Jeff said that he feels much more engaged with those around him. He is much more aware of what is going on within himself and with others around him. This has made a positive impact in both his personal and professional life.
I’m so proud of my Jeff and I’m so grateful I now get to do this work I love for a living.

Fumble Friday
Why am I calling this fumble Friday? Well, I was in such a rush to start this page and sharing that I didn’t take the time to make sure you understood what coaching, life coaching more specifically is all about.
Before I go explain, I’m curious as to what you know. Please share in the comments what you know (or don’t know) about life coaching. Feel free to add any questions you might have. Remember to check back for answers!
Hope you all have a fantastic Friday and wonderful weekend!!!

I love my daily calendars. I believe this page is from "Negative is Boring". It says, ""be present" doesn't only apply to the good times. try to sit with all of it." I'm interested in knowing what your thought or take away is regarding what it says. Thanks in advance for playing along!!!

If I have learned anything through Thriving Coach Academy, it is that we are all capable of being our own hero. We have everything we need inside us. Sometimes we just need a little help seeing it. What is getting in the way of you finding your solutions? Feel free to post in the chat or direct message me.

Welcome to Random Acts of Coaching. Trying to figure out how to start this page has been like putting together a puzzle for me. Even more so like a puzzle that I don't have all the pieces to yet. My daughter and I were talking today about how life is like a puzzle, so I thought I would make my first post about something that is current and personal in my life. Full disclosure, I made a committment to myself that I would make my first post by midnight eastern time on April 1st, so here it is... perfectly imperfect. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and support me while I make my best efforts to support you.
Who likes puzzles? I know I do ... and I don't. Sometimes they frustrate me so much I feel like giving up but I know it will be so satisfying to complete them. Is there more than one way to solve a puzzle? How do you solve puzzles? Do you start with the corners? group like colors? only work puzzles that have smaller numbers? only willing to work puzzles with a large number of pieces? How do missing pieces affect your experience and/or solution? So many questions/thoughts...
What is your biggest thought when it comes to working and/or solving puzzles?
