Midland North Rotary had a conversation with Lee Anna Good, development director of Safe Place of the Permian Basin. We learned a lot about domestic abuse and she brought us a list of items clients could use—a perfect service project for our club. Thank you, Lee Anna, for sharing with us.

Midland North has changed it's meeting dates to 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. You are invited to attend one or more of our meetings to see what this small Rotary club is doing! Tomorrow evening, May 16, we will be meeting at Murray's at 6:00. Because our RI president has placed an emphasis on mental health, our speaker tomorrow evening will just have a conversation with us. Our speaker is Allison Hartzoge who is a licensed professional counselor at Archway Outreach. Come have a bite to eat with us and hear what she has to say.

At last night’s meeting, the membership of Midland North Rotary Club went from 1 to 3 with two more hopefuls! We may be small in number, but we are poised to do great things in our community! We welcomed Sylvia Cevallos and Mary Lambeth!
