We're proud to share that BB-RISE Regional Director Jarrett Vickers recently testified before the Montana Legislative Interim Education Committee, where he highlighted the innovative work happening across the Big Bend.
Representing Alpine ISD, BB-RISE, and the Educational Partnership of the Permian Basin (EPPB), Mr. Vickers shared how regional collaboration is expanding career pathways, creating workforce opportunities, and transforming outcomes for rural students.

It's an honor to see the Big Bend recognized as a model for rural education innovation, proving what's possible when schools, higher education, employers, and community partners work together.

A key focus was creating clear data structures that support student success and provide a roadmap for postsecondary and workforce opportunities.

Connecting with our Future!📚

Last week, the BB-RISE Regional Director had the opportunity to meet with numerous small groups of 8th grade students across Big Bend region to showcase exciting BB-RISE pathway options available for next school year!

Students learned about the opportunities in areas such as Health Science, Business Management and future career focused pathways designed to help them explore their interests while preparing for college, careers, and life after high school.

We are excited to continue building opportunities for students living in rural areas and help learn and connect to real-world experiences right here in Big Bend!!

Today, we celebrated a remarkable individual's birthday and took a moment to acknowledge the positive impact Shannon Torres has on our team.
