Super proud of my High School Choir! They performed at the TAPPS Vocal Championship this weekend, and got Midland Christian’s first EVER sweepstakes! Women’s Chorus received straight 1s in concert and sight-reading, our first-ever Men’s Chorus received 2s in concert and sight-reading, and our Mixed Chorus received straight 1s in concert and a 2 in sight-reading. All together, we took 2nd in State! Another first for Midland Christian School!!! Way to go MCS Choir!

A very joyful ride back to Midland after a very early start to the day! Our students performed beautifully, and are coming home with a 2nd division rating on a solo, 7 1st division ratings on solos, and 3 first division ratings on small ensembles! Almost a clean sweep of 1s! Way to go MCS choir! Let these achievements be more crowns that we lay at the foot of the cross! Thanks also to our essentials... our accompanist, Christie Hamilton, our parent volunteer, Tom Elrod, and our driver, Glenn Niemeyer!!
