Paradigm Therapeutic High School

20 hours per week | $30 per hour
2026–2027 School Year

Paradigm Therapeutic High School is seeking a part-time NJDOE Certified Visual Arts Teacher to provide engaging, standards-based instruction in a therapeutic, learner-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a New Jersey Instructional Certificate for Art (1200) and demonstrate knowledge of the NJSLS Visual Arts Standards, effective instructional practices, classroom management, student assessment, and collaborative planning.

Candidates should also have strong interpersonal and technology skills and meet all required NJDOE background and health clearance requirements.

With nearly 30 years of experience as a clinician and program administrator, she has worked at Paradigm since its founding, developing and implementing its multi-modality comprehensive clinical program.

Under her guidance, the clinical model delivers individual counseling, group therapy, and creative arts therapy, all rooted in the evidence-based services of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Otise oversees a robust service model that helps students build healthy coping skills, navigate challenges, and thrive both personally and academically.

Sarah’s experience in schools, residential treatment programs, and private practice has shaped a collaborative, student-focused approach to care. She values strong partnerships with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to help every student grow through meaningful connections and individualized care.
