The Scholastic Book Fair is coming! This can’t-miss event gets kids excited about reading and earns funds for our school library. We are working towards funding a book vending machine as well as continuing to provide reading incentives for our amazing readers.

Book fair opens this Thursday, October 15th and will continue through Friday, October 23rd. Parents may come after school from 3-4pm to shop with their kids.

Check out https://www.scholastic.com/bf/rideoutelementaryschool to preview some books that we may carry as well as to set up an eWallet account so that your child can shop the fair.

Visit our school's homepage to get the latest Book Fair news, shop our Online Fair, and more!

On November 3, Clay County voters will consider the renewal of the existing One Mill ad valorem funding for four years (July 1, 2027 – June 30, 2031).

Because this measure is a renewal of the existing operating millage, it continues current funding without increasing tax rates. Revenues are strictly dedicated to two operational priorities:

School Safety: Funding law enforcement contracts for campus officers.

Employee Compensation: Providing competitive pay to retain and attract quality teachers and support staff.

All expenditures are subject to review by an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee. Visit oneclay.net/renewal for more information.
