🌙✨ How to Perform Salat al-Istikhara ✨🌙

1️⃣ Make the Intention (Niyyah)
– Face the qiblah, make wuduʼ.
– In your heart intend: “I am praying two rak’ahs of istikhara to seek Allah’s guidance.”

2️⃣ Pray Two Non-Obligatory Rak’ahs
• First rak’ah: Recite Al-Fātiḥah, then a short sūrah (e.g. Al-Kāfirūn).
• Second rak’ah: Recite Al-Fātiḥah, then another short sūrah (e.g. Al-Ikhlāṣ).

3️⃣ Recite the Istikhara Duʿāʼ
– After salam, raise your hands and say the full duʿāʼ below.

4️⃣ Mention Your Request
– While making duʿāʼ, clearly state in your heart (or aloud) the matter you need guidance on.

5️⃣ Trust Allah’s Decision
– Rely on Allah’s wisdom. Watch for ease or obstacles, inner peace or events that guide your choice.

――――――――――――――――――

📜 Istikhara Duʿāʼ

"O Allah, I seek the counsel of Your Knowledge, and I seek the help of Your Omnipotence, and I beseech You for Your Magnificent Grace. Surely, You are Capable and I am not. You know and I know not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter [then mention the thing to be decided] is good for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, - [or say: in this life and the afterlife] - then ordain it for me and make it easy for me, then bless me in it. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion and in my life and for my welfare in the life to come, - [or say: in this life and the afterlife] - then distance it from me, and distance me from it, and ordain for me what is good wherever it may be, and help me to be content with it." Whoever seeks the counsel of the Creator will not regret it and whoever seeks the advice of the believers will feel confident about his decisions, for Allah has said in the Qur'an: "And consult them in the affair. Then when you have taken a decision, put your trust in Allah.".”

✨The light of Islam, is a path of peace, purity and connection with Allah.

✨In Islam, music is prohibited because it can distract the heart from the remembrance of Allah. Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) described it as “the flute of Shaytan (Satan)”, as it often stirs emotions and desires that take us away from Allah and push us to do things that displease Him.

✨But don't worry, Islam doesn’t leave an empty space. Instead of music, you can fill your heart with the beautiful recitation of the Qur’an. So read it and listen to it being read by readers whom Allaah has blessed with beautiful voices. You will see a great difference in your heart and your life after that.

✨ You can also listen to soothing Islamic nasheeds without instruments and beneficial Islamic lessons.

✨You’ll find *true peace* not in melodies, but in the words of Allah.
“Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’an 13:28)

Take it step by step, and may Allah make your journey easy and blessed.

Some people mistakenly believe that they can love whomever they wish without it having any effect on their faith. You may see them loving those who obstruct the law of Allah, who ally with the enemies of Allah against His servants, and who promote disobedience to Him—yet such individuals think that this love is merely a “private matter” that has nothing to do with Allah, as long as they pray, fast, perform Hajj, and give zakat. This reflects a poor understanding of Allah and a deep ignorance of the true nature of Islam, which governs not only outward actions but also the emotions and deeds of the heart.

Let such people be aware that their faith is under serious question, based on Allah’s statement: “You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger” [Al-Mujadila: 22]. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also said: “A person will be with those whom he loves”—meaning in the Hereafter. He further said: “The strongest bond of faith is loving for the sake of Allah, hating for the sake of Allah, loyalty for the sake of Allah, and disassociation for the sake of Allah,” and: “Whoever loves for the sake of Allah, hates for the sake of Allah, gives for the sake of Allah, and withholds for the sake of Allah has completed their faith.”

Therefore, let these individuals examine their hearts before a day comes when regret will be of no benefit—“The Day when neither wealth nor children will benefit, except the one who comes to Allah with a sound heart” [Ash-Shu‘ara: 88–89].

When the heart is filled with the desire for Allah’s pleasure and the Hereafter, it magnifies even the slightest kindness shown by others. You will see such a person grateful for the simplest care from his wife and humbled by the smallest respect shown by his peers. Do you not see how Allah describes such people: “We feed you only for the sake of Allah. We wish neither reward nor thanks from you.” (Qur’an Translated Meanings 76:9)

ALLAH is The Creator of the Heavens and the earth and all that exists. Allah has no partners or associates, none is equal to Him and He has no son.

In the Arabic language the word الله 'Allah' originated from the word إله 'ILAH',

ILAH (إله) or God ( in English) He who has divinity = is the one who is worshiped;
And according to this meaning:

The One True God is Allah, there is no other God,
This means that Only Allah has divinity "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.",

The Jewish and Christian Arabs also call God by His name الله 'Allah", and it is not only Muslims who call Him by His name, but the other religions have, in one way or another, distorted and nullified a pure and proper belief in Almighty Allah by neglecting His true teachings and mixing them with man-made ideas.

Allah is the God of Abraham and Isrــael. Christians call him according to the Bible (the Father). Allah Is who sent the Prophets and messengers; Moses, Jesus, Abraham, Noah and all the prophets and messengers ( peace be upon them), and whose last prophet and messenger was Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him)

Allah has many names and attributes with which Allah Almighty named and described Himself, as the Almighty said (in the meaning of the verse):
*Allah – there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names.* (Quran 20:8)

Of these names and attributes:
The Beneficent, The Merciful, The King, The Most Sacred, The Source of Peace, The Creator, The Majestic, The Supreme Bestower, The All-Hearing, The All-Seeing, The All-Knowing, The First, The Last, The Giver of Life, The Creator of Death.. ect

Allah has mentioned the shifting of power balances throughout history, linking it to the fact that the purpose is to test the depth of faith and connection with Him: “And so are the days [of varying conditions], We alternate them among the people so that Allah may make evident those who have believed and take martyrs from among you. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.” (Qur’an Translated Meaning 3:140)
