The only way you can change someone is through a patient consistent effort of looking at them with your whole heart.

This involves seeing the best in people. It’s not criticizing and focusing on shortcomings.

The heart knows who loves it sincerely and who is lying, regardless of the degree of outwardly affection or praise and approval/acceptance.

Isn’t it that the sun will shine sometimes even when it’s raining.

Some people send mix signals.

It’s our responsibility to filter the sincere from the insincere. The crazy part is, someone sincere to you today may change and someone not sincere may become sincere.

That’s why Our Nabi, peace be upon him said: don’t love to hard and don’t hate to hard.

Through loving our spouse we love God, because accepting someone and overlooking their flaws takes courage and patience.

Marriage is not for the weak hearted.

Women measure a man by his ability to protect and provide, yet they forget they’re measured by their ability to nurture and bring peace.

Imagine after you having kids with your husband he suddenly stops providing and protecting, that’s equivalent to a woman who self sacrifices and looses her ability to nurture and mother herself when the baby arrives.

Loving yourself last as a mom, is basically a disaster, because you can’t pour love from an empty cup.

It’s the woman that brings peace to the home. When we fail to nurture our outer and inner beauty, we fail to bring that loving serene energy to the home.

Love yourself for the sake of Allah.
