Here are more photos taken from my latest visit to the Carslon Gracie Miami BJJ School. Thanks to all that were there... Specially to Prof. Michel P. Pereira "Buiu" for the warm welcome and letting me capture these moments... this is what I love about Jiu-Jitsu...

Jon Piñeiro - Began Jiu-jitsu in May 2009 with the idea of staying in shape and do something with his two boys... Started competing 3 months into Jiu-jitsu and has not stopped since. On June 24, 2017 he was awarded the Black belt from Professor Michel P. Pereira (Carslon Gracie Miami), He is Professor Pereira's 7th Black Belt Student in the USA. Under Prof. Michel P. Pereira (Carslon Gracie Miami) Jon Piñeiro has conquered 4 World Master Titles 2 Gi & 2 No-Gi, 1 Pan-American Title, and many other medals from IBJJF Opens across the country.

Quote from Jon: "I plan to compete until my circumstances and the universe allows me to. I am extremely grateful to the fact that I know that not everyone that wants to compete can, and I am able to do it every year, so I feel very fortunate for this. I have competed at the biggest stage of Jiu-Jitsu my entire journey since white belt".

These are the Jiu Jitsu Gypsiez, I had the honor and pleasure to shoot this All Girls BJJ Event. It took place at Daniel Perez BJJ. This group is focused on bringing together women in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community from different academies to train together.
