Ay Canelin ay Minnie……
Don’t let the sweet face fool you—Minnie is a Belgian Malinois mix with endless energy, endless curiosity, and an endless desire to be part of everything I do. Every toy is an adventure, every moment is playtime, and every minute without attention is an invitation to invent her own “projects.” She isn’t being naughty—she’s being exactly what a smart, working-breed puppy is meant to be: active, playful, and eager to learn.
A tired Malinois is a happy Malinois… and a much less destructive Minnie! Tutoring & Skills Prep

🦖 ¿Sabías que las aves son dinosaurios?
🦕 Did you know birds are dinosaurs? Las garzas, los ibis y todas las aves modernas pertenecen al linaje de los dinosaurios terópodos, el único grupo que sobrevivió a la extinción masiva de hace 66 millones de años.
En Casa del Río Toroide seguimos explorando la naturaleza con ojos científicos. Herons, ibises, and all modern birds belong to the theropod dinosaur lineage, the only group to survive the mass extinction 66 million years ago.
Welcome to another scientific adventure at Casa del Río Toroide. # Maria Isabel Dominguez Vivian RomeuToroide Latin SchoolToroide Tutoring & Skills Prep

What does the word progenitor really mean?
It comes from the Latin progenitor, built from pro- (“forward” or “before”) and genitor, meaning “the one who begets,” from the Latin verb gignere—“to bring forth” or “to produce.”
A progenitor is more than just a parent.
It is the one who gives rise to a new generation.
This same Latin root gave us words like generation, genetics, genesis, and even degenerate.
Learning etymology reminds us that words have ancestors too.
Understanding where words come from helps us understand ideas more deeply.
