Melted Crayon Pumpkin

You need:
1 white plastic or real pumpkin
crayons
glue
blow dryer
plastic bag

1. Cover area with the plastic bag.
2. Peel paper off the crayons.
3. Glue crayons on the top part of the pumpkin.
4. Blow dry crayons for around 45 seconds to 1 minute each.
5. Let dry.

Frozen Dinosaur Eggs

You Needed:
Balloons
Mini Dinosaurs
Bin For Melting & Warm Water
Eye Droppers

Instructions:
Blow up a balloon and hold it for 30 seconds or so to stretch it out.
Stretch open top of balloon and stuff a dinosaur into the balloon. You may need help but I wrangled it in on my own.
Fill the balloon with water and tie it up.
Stick the balloons in the freezer and wait.
When frozen, cut off knot and peel off balloon.

Did you know?

-Mammals live in all sorts of environments including the ocean, underground, and on land. Some mammals, bats for example, can even fly.
-There are three types of mammals: Live young, Marsupials and Egg laying mammals.
-The largest mammal is the Blue Whale.
-The smallest mammal is the Kitty's hog-nosed bat.
-Mammals have unique brains and are often very intelligent. Humans are the most intelligent. Other intelligent mammals include the dolphin, the elephant, the chimpanzee, and the pig. That's right, pigs are thought to be one of the smartest animals!
-Mammals that eat meat are called carnivores. Carnivores include lions, tigers, seals, and the largest carnivore mammal which is the polar bear. Mammals that eat only plants are called herbivores. Some herbivores are cows, elephants, and giraffes. Mammals that eat both meat and plants are called omnivores. Humans are omnivores.

Fun Facts about Reptiles:

Nearly all reptiles lay shelled eggs.

Reptiles breathe air.

Reptiles are covered in scales or have a bony external plate such as a shell.

Nearly all reptiles are cold blooded.

The first reptiles are believed to have evolved around 320 million years ago.

The size of reptile’s brains relative to their body is much smaller than that of mammals.

Reptiles use a variety of methods to defend themselves from dangerous situations, such as avoidance, camouflage, hissing and biting.

Crocodiles and alligators are reptiles.

Turtles and tortoises are reptiles.

Lizards and snakes are reptiles.

Lizard and snake species make up the largest number of different reptiles.

Tuataras found in New Zealand are reptiles.

Egg Carton Crocodile

You need:
2 Egg carton (one of 10 or 12 eggs and another of 4 eggs)
Red, White and Green Construction Paper
Scissors
Glue
Green Paint

1. Paint the egg cartons in green and leave them to dry.
2. Cut out 1 big triangle, then cut the tip off to make the tail and glue
it at the end of the egg carton.
3. Cut out 20 small triangles. Have the small egg carton open and
glue all the triangles on the bottom to make its teeth.
4. Cut out 2 big ovals for the eyes. And draw a small black circle in
the middle of each oval and paste them on top of the small egg
carton to make its eyes.
6. Cut out 4 rectangles to make its legs, then cut the tip of the
rectangles making a zig-zag to make its claws. Glue 2
rectangles on each side of the big carton to make its legs.
7. Cut out a piece of red construction paper to make the inside of its
mouth and glue it inside.

Find the matching lowercase letter. Trace the letter using the color that matches the card. Awesome matching activity to practice handwriting and learn all letters and colors.

Crafty Craft Thursday!!

Egg Carton Owl
You need:
1 egg carton
Glue
Scissors
Feathers
Construction Paper
Paint

Cut the top off the bottom of an egg carton, then cut the top in two pieces and the bottom into sections of two to make eyes.
Next you need to paint your egg cartons.
Once they are dry you can glue on some feathers and glue your eye sockets on. Then add some eyes.
