Getting divorced was never going to transform this person into an easier one to deal with. That’s just a fact.

Yet so many of my clients have to come to me with the issue of feeling like life after divorce is just as difficult as it was before the split.

This is normal, and not uncommon! You just have to unlearn the patterns you contributed to before the marriage ended, in order to not feel like you’re still fully controlled by the person you’re no longer married to.

It’s hard, but it’s possible. I promise.

I mean, it’s true.

In my almost 7 years of working with both divorcing men AND women, I’ve constantly heard and seen women being referred to as “quitters” when they choose to divorce.
My male clients don’t really get this same heat.

Here’s how I see it from the women’s perspective…

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. When they realize the result isn’t resulting like it should, that’s when they feel they’re left with no other choice but to consider divorce.

Now let me sit back and watch the comments go crazy 🙄

We are so quick to want to protect them, yet they’re even quicker at reminding us that (sometimes), we don’t need to worry - they’ve got this!!
