India de Las Pampas enjoying her very first beach day 🌊☀️

She is the puppy from our “I” litter that we chose to keep here at Las Pampas. From the beginning there was something special about her. Presence, confidence, and that calm intelligence we value so much in our line.

Watching her step into the sand and the ocean for the first time was a beautiful moment. Strong, curious, and completely at home with the world around her.

The future of Las Pampas continues. 💛

We are proud to unveil a new high resolution logo for Las Pampas Kennels, honoring our baby boy, Capitán de Las Pampas.

For seventy five years, our family has dedicated itself to preserving the original Dogo Argentino bloodlines entrusted to us. Today, as we look toward the next seventy five years, we are refining our brand with the same discipline, pride, and conviction that define our breeding program.

This new emblem is not simply a logo. It is a statement of continuity. It reflects our heritage, our standards, and the responsibility we carry forward.

Built on bloodline. Preserved by principle.

My dad would be proud and love this logo.

Today on this Thanksgiving Day my gratitude feels carved into the marrow of my life.

I am thankful for Maureen my wife my compass the quiet force who holds the world together when I am tired.

I am thankful for my daughters whose laughter turns every burden into something worth carrying whose very existence gives shape to my days.

And I am thankful for my Dogos white sentinels of loyalty and courage creatures forged from love and lineage standing like living monuments to everything my father taught me.

We are exhausted this Thanksgiving our bodies aching from twenty four hours of welcoming new life into Las Pampas. Yet there is a strange holiness in exhaustion when it comes from creation. There is a peace in watching tiny hearts begin their first rhythm under our roof.

Today I give thanks for all of it. The love. The struggle. The lineage. The sleepless nights. The animals that guard us. And the family that makes every hour even the hardest ones feel like a blessing.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share nearly nine months have passed since the loss of my father, Dr. Raul Zeballos, on January 21, 2024. The Zeballos family remains steadfast in our unwavering commitment to the one true Dogo Argentino. In fact, long before his passing, my wife, Maureen, and I had already taken the helm of Las Pampas Kennels in 2020, fully dedicated to continuing the proud legacy of our Las Pampas, Los Andes, and De Pennsylvania bloodlines.

We solemnly vow that the Zeballos family will always strive to preserve and breed the Dogo Argentino to the original breed standard, faithfully upholding the values and principles passed down through generations. This responsibility transcends our own lifetimes, as even our daughters, at their young age, understand the profound weight of the legacy we carry forward. My father smiles down upon us, knowing that what he and my grandfather began 74 years ago remains alive and strong through us. Dad, we love you and miss you.

Today marks the 74th anniversary of Las Pampas Kennels. On April 20, 1950, my grandfather and father were graciously bestowed our inaugural Dogo Argentino by Dr. Antonio Nores Martinez. Since that auspicious day, our familial lineage has steadfastly dedicated itself to the meticulous breeding and preservation of this extraordinary breed.

Our journey began with Dogo de Los Incas, the grandfather of Kob de Las Pampas, selected by Dr. Agustín Nores Martinez in 1964 as the quintessential representation of the breed upon its formal recognition by the FCA. This seminal moment not only heralded the official acknowledgment of the Dogo but also realized Antonio's vision, thereby cementing the breed's legacy thanks to Agustín's work.

However, this 74th anniversary is tinged with a solemn hue, marking the first commemoration since the passing of our patriarch—the stalwart architect of our familial mission to safeguard the Dogo Argentino's purity. My father, Dr. Raul Zeballos, Sr., instilled within us an unwavering commitment to preserving the Dogo Argentino in its pristine form—an oath I solemnly pledge to uphold.

The transmission of knowledge from grandfather to father, and now to daughters, encapsulates the essence of our legacy. As my progeny embark on their journey as future dogueras, the radiant beacon of Las Pampas Kennels remains undimmed, a testament to our enduring dedication. Dad, your absence is keenly felt, yet your legacy resonates in every facet of our endeavor.

Written by Raul Zeballos, Jr.

Gino de Las Pampas embodies the legacy of his father, Capitán de Las Pampas, epitomizing the quintessence of the Dogo breed at a mere 8 months of age, adhering faithfully to the original breed standard of 1964 when the Dogo was accepted by the FCA using Kob de Las Pampas.
