Exciting news! I'm thrilled to announce the launch of my new LinkedIn newsletter!
In this weekly newsletter, I'll share a mix of valuable information tailored for corporate leaders looking to expand their business volume and market share in the unpredictable environments spawned by today's crises.
Unlike most newsletters offering only tips and advice, I have chosen to follow a somewhat untraditional approach. I will offer weekly research-driven reflections outlining a path where socially driven ethical practices align seamlessly with economic gains.
Another important element of the newsletter will be its focus on enhancing the resilience of underprivileged and under-represented communities. The underlying logic is associated with the sentiment of abandonment once predominantly experienced by minority groups, and the less privileged has now become an increasingly pervasive feeling among the masses at large. Because of this, private companies have an obligation to rethink the way they understand consumers and their expectations.
My goal is not to throw isolated pieces of information. On the contrary, I want you to engage all editions as a story, keeping you engaged and building a new corporate framework as time passes. The content will be somewhat abstract though, but I will be here to offer strategies, tips, and actionable advice to help you adapt your corporate strategy and thrive where others falter.
This first edition is limited to a short reflection. The intention is to give you a taste of the tone and content. So check it out and opt-in to receive future newsletter editions!

Dear friends and colleagues
I am pleased to inform you that the International Humanitarian Studies Association (IHSA) has honored me with the coordination of a panel in their next conference to take place in The Hague from the 27 to the 29 of August of this year. The panel I will be coordinating is entitled "Humanitarianism in Urban Violent Settings". You can find the description of the panel below. Information of the conference and applications can be found in this link: https://conference.ihsa.info/proposed-panels/view/240
IHSA is especially interested in the participation of experts from the Global South. I share this interest and it would be a pleasure to receive applications from under-represented groups in the field of humanitarian studies, emergency management and related disciplines.
Please be aware that the deadline for the submission of papers is the 1st of June.
If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at [email protected].
