How often do you sit down and write your goals out?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Writing down your long term goals keeps you on track to achieving them. I mean let’s be honest, how many time do you simply think about what you want to accomplish and by the end of the year, you look back and nothing got done. Another year and you don’t feel any closer to your dreams.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The truth is, it needs a little more involvement and attention than just thinking about it and simply writing it down. Try out this goal setting technique for 2020 and see how well it works for you 👇
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1) Every week have a “saddle up”. Find some peace and quiet and write those long term goals out in list form. I also recommend throwing on one of the deep focus playlists on Spotify to help you flow 🤙.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) Create another column next to each of those goals and write down why the goal is important FOR YOU to achieve.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3) Create one more column next to the “whys” and write down a rating on a scale from 1-10 for how committed you are to each goal. If you’re less than a 10, ask yourself what you need to do to get yourself to a level 10 on the commitment scale!

Every week revisit these three columns and see if the items are still jiving with you. Check-in with yourself and see if you’re on track or if anything has changed within yourself, Calibrate and keep going. It’s easy to fall out of touch with our dreams but this is a method to keep them on the forefront of our mind at the start of each week.

Follow these steps and you’ll be crushing those goals in no time!! 💪💪💪

How to think positively in 2 minutes!

Gratitude has changed my life. It brings a calm upon me that corrects my view of myself and my life. What it does is realign your focus from a state of negativity to positivity. We all have our days where we are running towards negativity for no good reason and we can’t figure out why. It just happens. We tend to forget all the progress we’ve made, how far we’ve come and that there’s a lot we have to be grateful for. This little trick will help you reverse that.

“Hump day”

Slowly but surely I am getting out of the hump day mindset. I’m trying be at a place where I’m not dying for the weekend. I mean of course, we all have things occur on the weekends that are exciting and fun but that would basically mean that my weekdays are so unsatisfying that I just can’t wait for the weekend. I personally don’t believe that is a good life to live with there being 5 weekdays and only 2 weekend days. So a goal in my life is to make everyday that exciting! 🎉🎊😂 This ain’t a hump day struggling face - it’s a game face!😤😋
