What an incredible weekend with Soldiers to Sidelines and the New York Jets!

Day 1: Travel, coach introductions, and instant camaraderie. It was awesome reconnecting with friends from the Soldiers To Sidelines Summit in Nashville and making new ones here in NJ/NY, what a tribe!

Day 2: Leadership and communication training, coaching fundamentals, film study, play card building, and on-field drills. I was part of the O-Line run block drill team with three other coaches, an unforgettable hands-on experience!

The Jets went above and beyond, opening their training facility and film rooms, gifting us hoodies, personalized play card boards, and even a Salute to Service helmet personally presented by former Cowboys and Jets halfback Tony Richardson.

Special thanks to Ted DeZabala, MAPP, PCC, for his powerful session on Trust Intelligence. I’ve studied emotional and artificial intelligence before, but this concept truly resonated on a deeper level.

Day 3: Game day! We attended the Jets vs. Browns matchup, were recognized on the field, and even got to see Method Man, and a win for the Jets!

The New York Jets are truly a first-class organization that honored and celebrated us as Veterans and Soldier Coaches. Huge gratitude to Harrison Bernstein, Alyssa Allen, Carl Little, and Aaron Brady for investing in us and welcoming us into this incredible community.

Every day, I will continue to earn my whistle and build on what I’ve learned.
Proud. Grateful. Humbled.

I couldn’t be more proud of the man, son, and father you have become. Your integrity, wisdom, and heart for others continue to inspire everyone around you. Watching you lead with excellence, and fun times, both in family and in coaching, fills me with deep gratitude and joy.

On this special day, I speak blessings over your life, that God’s favor will continue to surround you, His purpose will keep guiding you, and His joy will overflow in every season.

What an incredible honor to coach and lead the corporate retreat for the leaders and attorneys of Roybal, Mack & Cordova in beautiful Vail, Colorado.

I’m deeply thankful for the opportunity to pour into such brilliant minds alongside two of my greatest blessings, my son, Coach Mario A. Garcia, and my daughter, Coach Erica Rodriguez.
