Saw this from and had to repost. For way too long in my career I felt like not enough. So I kept searching for more — more skills, more certifications, more praise, more money, more degrees, more awards. More of anything to prove to myself and the world that I was enough and that I was an expert! Well, I ended up with a pretty good resume, but still had zero real confidence. So what did I really need? What I really needed was to return to my natural state. 🤩 I needed to eliminate the ridiculousness that was holding me back, the thoughts that kept me small, and those big beliefs that told me I needed to people please, prove myself, and be perfect. I needed to drop the bu****it excuses that kept me from actually living the life I wanted to live. All along it wasn’t about improving, it was about letting go and accessing what was already there. Thank god for my amazing coaches along the way. ❤️

Mel Robbins has a 5 second rule -- If you have an instinct to act on a goal, you must physically move within 5 seconds. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

However, I don't know about you, but for a long time in my career I didn't act fast. Instead, I waited, and waited, and doubted, and imagined, and fantasized, and then waited some more. I was waiting to be told what to do. It was easier and safer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I realized now that I made my . And as desires I told myself on a subconscious that I could not have them. Desires are to be had, not to already have. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So I have spent the past five years learning how to make quick decisions. Learning to act by trusting that my are already in motion - they are already happening. And it's up to me to trust my , my , my , and my to go for it in the moment and make it my reality. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I no longer have to wait, doubt, fear, or fantasize about what could be, but I can start creating any result I want, right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

She surrounds herself with supportive people ✨ and takes herself out of her usual surroundings ✨.

It’s here she finds inspiration, simplicity and energy to confidently make the right decisions.

I’m so thankful for her advice as I return home from the Vancouver DLA event with incredible women in business.

As an introvert at heart, I positioned this saying on my wall right in front of my computer. It's easy for me to go it alone, even when I know the power of community.

So I have challenged myself to reach out, connect, partner and get into the habit of "going together" every day. And this place, in community, is where I'm the happiest.
