I’m honored to be named among South Florida Business Journal’s 2026 Power Leaders in Education.

Education is our greatest catalyst for growth and social mobility. That belief continues to guide our work at Barry as we expand opportunities in high-demand fields, embrace the possibilities of AI, and prepare our students for an evolving workforce.

I’m proud to do this work alongside the students, faculty, and staff who make Barry University what it is.

Last week, Barry University welcomed the Florida Podiatric Medical Association to campus for its annual Meet the Candidates forum.

The event gave our students an opportunity to engage with the civic process, hear directly from candidates, see professional advocacy up close, and play an active role in shaping the future of healthcare.

Grateful to everyone who joined us for this important conversation.

Last month’s Peace Week began with one of Barry’s most meaningful traditions, the Mass of the Holy Spirit.

It was a time for our community to come together in faith, reflect on the year ahead, and seek the guidance and wisdom to make it a year of purpose, hope, and peace.

Thank you to the Matt and Lisa Allen Family Foundation for their support of our students on their path to graduation. Their scholarships provide critical funding that fills the gap that can often derail a student from completing their education.

Proud to see Barry University featured by Local 10 as the Kennedy Kids 5K returned to our campus for its fourth year.

What began in memory of Kennedy Bailey has grown into a meaningful community gathering that raises awareness for teen mental health and su***de prevention. We were honored to provide a place for families, runners, and supporters to come together for a cause that matters.

Runners hit the pavement for a special 5K event in Miami-Dade County on Sunday morning.
